Get to know the green fairy.

New york agency Decon (Not sure why they'd want to be named after mouse poison) launches a site for Swiss Absinthe maker, Kübler. I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. When you hit a link in their menu, the entire site refreshes. Would have been a more cohesive and elegant experience if just the content inside the wooden border changed. Anyway, we want to hear from you.

This site is pretty much unbearable. Not only does it load an entirely new page every time you click a link, but the overall usability is atrocious. Finding buttons is dubious considering the only indication that you’ve found one is that your cursor changes to a hand on rollover. In the Fact/Fiction section there is an area where two navigation arrows are basically overlapping. Yuck. There are also sub-links, which open in a new window. Best of all, no preloaders.
The upside here are some cool visual cues. The site is also for relatively cool product that may or may not make you see green-ferries upon consumption.

Yeah I agree. Cool product, lame site. Frustrating to use and the content was pretty boring.
